This "Pumkin Puncher" the "CXL-R" is an extremely effective device that will give you a standoff / breaching option as well as an aggressive deterrent at an affordable price, by simply attaching to your Remington 870 tube cap. Please see pics for reference. This device is not a barrel mount, it simply attaches to your 870 mag cap. All you’ll need is a Phillips screwdriver and a 3/8" socket, we supply everything else for the install. It is designed to work with a STAGGERED length barrel to tube ratio, commonly found on the Remington 870 models with an 18.5" barrel and an integrated tube extension, NOT the screw on extension. This Puncher is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, and as such, machining marks may be present on some items. It is anodized flat black and branded. A quick swipe with a black permanent ink pen will camouflage the etching if you so desire. CXL specs: OAL of 5.365”. To determine your actual working standoff length, measure from the base of your tube cap to your muzzle, and subtract that dimension from 5.365”. Major O.D. of 1.440”. Dimensions are approximate. What you’ll receive: The stated device, instructions, all necessary machine screws, washers, allen screws and hex wrenches for your specific item along with a pack of VC-3 thread lock.
