How would you like to keep your favorite choke installed, and still have a breaching option? This "Pumkin Puncher" is an extremely effective device that will give you a standoff / breaching option, as well as an aggressive, non-lethal deterrent at an affordable price, by simply attaching to your tube extension. This listing is for a type "TXL" which is designed to be used with a staggered length barrel to tube ratio. TXL specs: OAL of 5.350" To determine your actual working standoff length, measure from the face of your tube to your muzzle, and subtract that dimension from 4.175". Major OD of 1.400". Dimensions are approximate. This Puncher will easily fit your factory Remington 870 tube extension (in which the mag tube diameter is stepped down in the front) and will also fit most aftermarket tube extensions you may have on any other shotgun. Tube extensions like Carlsons, Choate, Tacstar, Promag, etc. If you have an ATI, GG&G or a Nordic Components extension tube, this will not be compatible. Please see our other items. If you have the new generation 870 Tactical with the screw off tube cap, you will need a "CXL" (for a staggered length configuration). This Pumkin Puncher is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, and as such, machining marks may be present on some items. They are anodized matte black and branded. What you'll receive: The stated device, instructions, all necessary machine screws, washers, allen screws and hex wrenches for your specific item along with a pack of VC-3 thread lock. You will need a phillips screwdriver and/or a 3/8" socket or similar. A very easy install. This is an extremely cost effective and versatile option you can easily add to your shotgun.
